Next, we carefully brush the roof to remove the bulk of the moss and debris around 80% or so to avoid damage to the shingles, our treatment in step 5 takes care of the rest. Our brushes and tools are designed to be gentle on roofing materials while getting rid of the majority of the moss. This step is crucial in preparing the roof for a deep clean and treatment.
We then clean the roof using backpack blowers to remove all the debris, including moss, algae, and dirt. Our team makes it so no debris is left behind, thoroughly clearing your roof.
After cleaning, we apply a preventative treatment to the roof. This treatment is designed to kill any remaining moss spores and prevent near future growth. By using treatment, we ensure that your roof remains clean and moss-free for a longer period. This powder treatment can be seen on the roof before it dissolves and gets absorbed by the moss.
The final step is to activate the treatment with water, this is either done naturally with rain or if the weather is dry for many days we will hose the roof down to get it dissolved. This step improves the effectiveness of the moss removal process, ensuring that just about all the moss is gone. This last step may take up to 2-4 weeks before a full result so please be patient!
