Our 5 step Exterior window cleaning Process
Step 1. Inspect & Remove
Our window cleaning starts with a careful look at your windows. We check for dirt, grime, and algae. We also check for rust, hard water spots and paint because it is typically not removable without a special procedure, we then advise on next steps if we notice any of these issues. We then remove the screens as we will be cleaning them in a later step.
Step 2. Pre-Wet
Next, we carefully wet the windows to loosen and lift the bulk of the dirt and debris. Our tools are designed to be gentle on the glass while effectively removing most contaminants. During this step, we also rinse and clean the window screens, exterior tracks, and window frames.
Step 3. Clean
We thoroughly clean the windows using a combination of environmentally friendly methods. Depending on the situation, we use microfiber towels, traditional squeegees, and occasionally specialized tools like razors for stubborn residues or sap. This step ensures a spotless finish without damaging your windows.
Step 4. Dry
After cleaning, we meticulously dry the panes, trims, and exterior tracks using microfiber towels. We ensure that everything is completely dry before moving on to the final step to prevent streaks or watermarks.
Step 5. Touchups
In the final step, we reinstall the screens and conduct a detailed inspection to catch any missed spots. We also take before and after photos to document the results. If you’d like to see them, just ask our office staff.
