Our 8 step Tree Removal Process

Step 1: Inspect

We assess the tree's size, health, location, and any nearby structures to determine the safest removal approach.

STEP 2: PLAN & PREP

Our team identifies fall zones, clears the area, and prepares all safety equipment and tools needed for the job.

STEP 3: TRIM & TOP

We remove limbs and branches first to reduce weight and improve control before taking down the main trunk.

STEP 4: SECURE DROP ZONE

Ground crews position ropes, guide lines, or rigging systems to safely control the direction of falling sections.

STEP 5: CUT DOWN TREE

Using chainsaws or specialized equipment, we remove the trunk in sections or as a whole—depending on space and conditions.

STEP 6: Cut Up

Larger logs are cut into manageable pieces (around 16 inches or so) and staged for hauling, splitting, or customer use if requested.

STEP 7: DEBRIS REMOVAL

We can haul away branches, wood, and sawdust to leave the site clean. Debris removal is available upon request.

STEP 8: Walk Through

Once the work is complete, we walk the site with you to confirm everything meets your expectations.

COMMON QUESTIONS And Answers

If you have any other questions about our tree removal process, feel free to call the number at the top of the page and a team member will be happy to assist you.

Do I need a permit or HOA approval for tree removal?

Permit and HOA requirements vary by location. It is the homeowner’s responsibility to obtain any necessary permits or HOA approvals before we begin work. We're happy to provide documentation or details about the work if needed for your application.

Can you help with insurance claims?

Yes. While we cannot influence your adjuster's decisions, we can support your claim by providing professional assessments, written quotes, and before-and-after photos. We’ve worked with many customers who needed documentation for storm damage or fallen trees.

What if the tree is near power or utility lines?

Safety is our top priority. If your tree is near power or communication lines, we have experience coordinating with local utility companies. We can assist in scheduling their crews to shut off or manage the lines before removal begins.

Do you remove the stump too?

Stump grinding is not included by default, but we offer it as an optional add-on. Just let us know if you'd like the stump removed and we’ll include it in your quote.

How do I pay?

You can pay with cash or a check, both are preferred. Just give it to the technician when they’re done or bring it to our office. We’ll also send you a bill in an email, and you can pay that online if you like.

Do you haul away the wood and debris?

Yes, we offer debris cleanup and wood hauling as optional services. Some customers choose to keep the firewood, while others want a full cleanup. Let us know your preference and we’ll include it in your quote.

How soon can you schedule my tree removal?

Scheduling depends on the size and location of the job, as well as weather and utility coordination (if applicable). We’ll do our best to find a date that works for you and communicate clearly every step of the way.
